After a lot of stability improvements, GoboLinux 007rc is a serious candidate to be the final release. Probably, after this weekend, it will in fact be it. Check it out at the downloads page. Hardware detection was not included on this version (but in 008, it will be there). This release contains an complete system (KDE, OpenOffice, Gimp, etc.), that can be run even without any installation (knoppix-like). For more information join the mailing list.
